VINTAGE CRANBERRY GLASS VASE: A fabulous ‘Verre Cranberry, Canadiana’ vase, with its swing tag still attached. In perfect condition, the fluted sides and clear glass rim and foot catch the light beautifully. The original tag describes why genuine cranberry glass is so special. It is made by fusing solid gold with lead crystal to produce the subtle colour. The description goes on to state, “Canadian originality is exemplified in this artistic mouth-blown and hand-formed creation. Canadiana Cranberry Glass is destined to be tomorrow’s ‘collector’s item’.” Well tomorrow is here and this is a definite collector’s piece. The photographs say it all. The vase measures 25.5cm (9 7/8in) high and 22.5cm (8 7/8in) wide across the top.
